Family/Personal History: Nyla was taken in by Emily Martian when know one wanted her. Well that was the story she grew up hearing. The truth is her real mother Elizabeth, had her out of marriage. She doesn’t share the same father as the other Richardson children. Elizabeth wanted to keep her marriage together for the other children’s sake. So she gave poor Nyla away. Her birth name was Aude, Elizabeth wanted all her children to have a names. But Emily soon changed that name. Saying that it would be better that she not know her mother was Queen and that her name was given after an Aunt. Emily raised Nyla to the best of her ability, but it wasn’t easy. Finally when Nyla turned 14 Emily died, she then went to live with Isis and her keeper. Nyla found out from many people in town that Emily wasn’t her real mother, that that was her aunt. Her father was a great man who was stricken by love. She laughed and went about her way. One day while wandering in the woods she meet a vampire, named Armadas, he was very ill and he needed blood. Nyla just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He bit her and turned her into a Vampire. She spent the 2 years trying to find the man who did this to her. She still to this day is looking for him. When she returned on her 17th birthday she was told by Isis that next year she was going to meet the Richardson family. Nyla spent the rest of that year, walking in the woods, and building resistance to human blood.

Nyla walked into the woods, the sun was going down. She would hunt a few rabbits or bird and then drain them. She refused to take a human life. She walked back on to the road and sat down. Most people thought that Nyla was a bit odd. Which was true, some times she did in fact act “strange”. But it was mostly because she was bored, and some what she loved to mess with people. Nyla laid down and looked at the stars. She loved to stair at them, and hoped that when she left they would be the same. She closed her eyes and opened the rest of her senses. She could hear the rabbits moving and the birds flying. She hopped up and ran after one. She picked it up and looked at it in the eyes. I wonder if a rabbit could be come a vampire? She asked her self. She then bit slowly into its neck and drained it. She then broke its neck. Nyla placed it in her bag. She would give it to Isis late on. Nyla never told any one that she was a vampire, but deep down inside she knew that Isis knew about her. They had been around each other of a while. She then walked toward the cottage that she and Isis some times shared. Nyla liked to sleep in the woods. She left the rabbit on her door step and then walked past the families. She could hear them laughing and yelling. How she sometimes wished she could have a mother and father, sisters and brothers. How she wanted some one to yell and play with. She walked into the woods and laid down on the ground. She closed her eyes, and listened to the wind. She wondered what this new place would be like and why she had to wait two days before leaving, why couldn’t she travel with Isis.
